Coaches Comments – Malabar

Coach Gerald Pollonais of Malabar had words of encouragement for his squad despite their 3-0 defeat to San Juan. “I think for a first match of the season, the team did well. From this point on we can only improve.” Coach Pollonais conceded that the two penalties hurt his squad, and made it very difficult for them to get back into the game. He stressed that the team has to move on because their next two matches will be against stiff opposition, the likes of El Dorado on Monday, and St. Augustine on Wednesday.
