Six former SSFL players awarded US scholarships

Six footballs all of whom were progenies of the Secondary Schools Football League have been awarded scholarship to Universities in the United States of America.

Jesse Stewart and Shabbaz Nakhid - former students of El Dorado Senior Comprehensive have both been offered scholarships to Montreat College in North Carolina.

Kevon Jagessar - formerly of Presentation College Chaguanas will attend St. Andrew's Junior College in Georgia.

Reuel Brown - is an ex St. Mary's College student and footballer will attend the Bridgeport University in Connecticut.

Marvin Martinez - a past pupil of Fatima College will attend Young Harris College in Georgia.

Akiel Pompey - is a former student of Queen's Royal College will be attending Mercer University in Georgia.
