North Zone Roundup Oct 8th; Relegation battle down to the wire

Trinity Malick battle to exciting draw; Malick 2 - 2 Trinity

Fans will have to wait until the dramatic final matchday of the North Zone league to find out who will claim the title, and who will be relegated.

Trinity and Malick battled to a 2-2 draw to leave the relegation battle wide open. Both teams remain tied at the bottom with 7 points, with Malick having a superior goal difference.

Randy Primus scored two penalties for Malick, while Kendall Sealy and Brian Andrews were on target for Trinity.

'Tigers' defeat QRC; St Anthony's 2 - 0 QRC

St Anthony's College are still in position to steal 3rd spot in the North Zone after they defeated QRC 2-0 at St Anthony College Grounds.

Qian Grosvenor scored the first to increase his season tally to six goals, and Dwight Ceballo contributed the second goal in the Tiger's victory.

St Anthony's now are in 5th spot on 12 points, two behind CIC and QRC, and with two games in hand.

Malick face the tough task of having to get a favorable result against last season's champions St Anthony's College on Saturday in order to avoid relegation.

St Mary's College hosts Trinity College on Saturday, with Trinity also needing a positive result from the tricky encounter in order to avoid the drop.

Fatima host QRC and will be looking for nothing less than 3 points in order to keep the pressure on Mucurapo in the hunt for the title.
