CIC claim 3rd spot; St Mary's 3 - 1 Trinity
St Mary's College had to come from behind today at CIC Grounds to defeat Trinity by 3-1.
Trinity was awarded a controversial penalty decision early on which was converted by Kendall Sealy.
CIC pressed forward however and dominated the remainder of the game and their hard work paid off when they scored 3 unanswered goals courtesy of a brace from skipper Veer Lackhan-Joseph and a strike from Christian Briggs.
The victory moved the 'Saints' into 3rd spot in the North Zone.
Tigers move to 4th; Malick 0 - 3 St Anthony's
Defending North Zone champions have to settle for a 4th place finish this season, but still did so with an impressive 3-0 victory over Malick Secondary.
Dwight Ceballo, Qian Grosvenor and Michael Bain supplied the goals for the 'Tigers'.
Malick now has to sit and wait until Trinity College plays its two re-scheduled games to find out whether or not they will be relegated.
Fatima sits on top of the group ahead of Mucurapo by one point, but Mucurapo have a game in hand against Trinity on Monday, and a draw could see 'Compre' claim the title.
On the other end of the table Malick and Trinity remain tied on points, with Malick having the better goal difference.
A win or draw for Trinity on Monday will also see Trinity stay up for next season so all eyes in the North Zone will be on that fixture. CIC, Tigers and QRC occupy positions 3, 4 and 5 in the table respectively.
